Our Services

  • Biological Dentistry

The focus of biological (holistic) dentistry is to treat oral health issues based on a whole body approach. We, as biologic dentists advocate for minimally invasive procedures and focus on the prevention of oral health problems rather than just addressing once they occur. We focus on identify risk factors and deploy conservative approaches to treat the issue before it spirals into a bigger problem.

What is the difference between a traditional dentist and a biologic dentist?

A biological dentist, like a traditional dentist, holds a DDS or DMD degree and provides standard dental services such as cleanings, fillings, and periodontal treatment. However, the key difference is in their approach. Instead of just addressing symptoms, biological dentists focus on uncovering the root cause of dental issues, considering factors like diet, sleep, exercise, and medical history. They also prioritize using natural, non-toxic, and biocompatible materials in their treatments.

  • Tongue and Lip Tie

Tongue Tie or Ankyloglossia refers to the presence of a tight frenulum or tissue at the base of the tongue which connects the tongue to the floor of the mouth. Every human has a frenulum, but a functional evaluation needs to be made to identify this frenulum as a cause for concern and therefore treatment.

  • Airway Focused Dentistry

Oxygen is absolutely essential to human life. Airway-focused dentistry is important because it addresses how the structure and function of the mouth, jaw, and airway affect overall health, particularly breathing. By focusing on the airway, dentists can help prevent or treat conditions like sleep apnea, snoring, and breathing difficulties, which are linked to issues like poor sleep quality, fatigue, and even cardiovascular problems. Early intervention in children through airway-focused dentistry can support proper jaw development, reducing the risk of future orthodontic or breathing issues, however, we see patients of all ages to address this.

Through dental appliance therapy, an airway dentist can promote the natural growth and proper positioning of the teeth, jaws, and mouth.

A customized dental device corrects the underlying development issues, giving your tongue enough space to reach its optimal resting position. By eliminating airway obstructions, we restore functional breathing, opening a list of health improvements and enhanced quality of life.

like expansion, ALF, Schwartz, Myobrace, Invisalign, and Candid to improve airway tone & function.

  • Laser Therapies

Utilizing our multiple lasers, we are able to offer non invasive laser treatment that utilizes photobiomodulation to treat various conditions within the oral cavity. The treatment involves the application of light to tissues to promote healing, reduce pain, and improve overall tissue function.

Oralase/Smilelase/Babylase are safe laser therapies that release fascia, reduce scar tissue, and improve muscle tone and function. The specific frequency of laser light is applied to the head, neck, and mouth, creating a warm and relaxing sensation. These therapies promote cranial nerve stimulation and integration, benefiting infants with birth trauma. They enhance neuromuscular communication for efficient swallowing and breathing.

  • Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry

We offer cosmetic and biomimetic restorations for patients with dental decay. Our approach focuses on preserving healthy tooth structure and using non-metal, BPA-free composite materials for fillings. Ozone disinfection minimizes decay and post-op sensitivity. Our metal-free crowns, bridges, and dentures provide comfort and durability. We recommend a Clifford or biocompatibility lab test for patients with chemical sensitivities to determine suitable materials. Dental implants restore functionality and can resemble natural teeth, requiring proper hygiene. Maintaining proper teeth contact throughout the day is essential for brain function and preventing cognitive decline.
